Alice Billing House’s First Anniversary & Supper Cloth Launch
The Supper Cloth
On March 13th, we invited organisations and community members who have supported our journey in Stratford during our first year to join us in celebrating two significant milestones: the ‘big reveal’ of the Community Supper Cloth and the first anniversary of Alice Billing House’s operations.
Mel from Stitch School led a drop-in session on Floral Patch Making, inspired by the Alice Billing Community Cloth.
Participants had the opportunity to learn various stitching techniques and create their own floral patches, which they could use to embellish garments or display as wall art.
Meanwhile, studio holder Francesco Tassi, a professional caricaturist, captured digital portraits of guests, which they were able to take home as keepsakes.
To top it off, we enjoyed a delicious cake baked by local independent baker Liv’s Bakes.
