Community Planting Day at the Historic Alice Billing House in Stratford

Join us on 2nd of April to plant up our newly built planters at one of Stratford's most Historic buildings, Alice Billing House. This former fireman’s accommodation opened as artist studios in 2024 and with the help of the community, we are looking to improve the entrance courtyard to provide a space for the artists and visitors to enjoy.

Led by Newham-based community garden artist, Stephen Shiell, you will help plant new beds with a range of perennials, bulbs and shrubs. Learn more about plants and the history of this unique building

Please bring sturdy shoes, a packed lunch, and sensible clothes for the weather and gardening.

We will provide all tools and refreshments

Please RSVP to marguerite@growstudios.co.uk or sign up via Eventbrite
