PROJECT SPACE FOR COMMUNITY HIRE

The Project Space at Alice Billing House in Stratford is a self-contained room within the studios which is available to studio holders, local community groups, and individuals of Newham for meetings, community engagement, learning and outreach activities.

We have a limited amount of FREE or SUBSCIDISED hire slots available throughout the year. This allocated on a discretionary basis for charitable and community-benefiting events.

THE SPACE ITSELF

• The room is a 6m x 3m accessible room with gallery lighting, movable tables and chairs and hot drink-making facilities

• Access to a ground floor accessible toilet

• The room can fit 14 boardroom, 18 theatre style and 8 for a practical/ creative workshop.

In addition to the limited free hire slots, we have two rates available 1) Standard and 2) Subsidised Community. By filling out the form, it will help us understand how we can work together and what rate we can offer you.

• Room hire half-day £120.00

• Room hire full-day £240.00

• Room hire evening £180.00

• Room hire weekend Sat & Sun £324.00

Community Rate 50% discount on application (Inc VAT )

• Room hire half-day £60.00

• Room hire full-day £120.00

• Room hire evening £90.00

• Room hire weekend Sat & Sun £162.00

T&Cs

All hirers are required to:

• meet with a GROW team member before the hire starts, as well as to complete a risk assessment, sign a hire agreement and provide proof of Public Liability

• Ensure participants complete a short survey for us to better understand their experience of the project space and activity

• be responsible for cleaning and clearing the Project Space post-event

• Comply with full list of T&Cs (which will be provided)
