Join us on a spring afternoon this March for music, dance, creativity and community at Alice Billing House, Stratford for the final event of the Alice Billings Connects programme, organised by Hive Curates.

This is a free community event featuring live music performences, dance and creative workshops along with locals selling art, food and artisan goods.

EMZINO

Hailing from Forest Gate in Newham, the Newham native Emzino is a DJ, Sound Engineer and Producer. He has worked with the likes of Jammer and BBK Collective, Fumes the engineer plus many more.

Abdoulaye Samb

A guitarist, singer and composer from Senegal will bless the stage with his original music is inspired by Fula and Mandinka cultures.

Leather Keyring making workshop by Rebecca George (OFFCUT)
OFFCUTT is an accessories brand founded by Rebecca George who also goes by her native name Oluwafunmilayo. Rebecca is a Nigerian and Guyanese craftswoman born in east London. Rebecca works with locally sourced end of the line leather remnants. Each item is pieced together with carefully selected offcuts to create an array of panelled shapes and colour-ways. Join Rebecca in making your own leather keyring to keep for yourself or give away as a present for a loved one.

Artisans
We have a wide selection of brilliant local talent trading at this event. From jewlery makers, homeware artisans, card makers, skincare and much more. Come down and find something unique in this treasure trove of art and crafts.

Food

Hold your bellies for Spring Cafe who will be serving up delicious organically sourced food drinks for us. Nestled inside Abbey Gardens just a stones throw away, they pride themselves on their homegrown produce and community ethos, we cant wait to have them!

Sphere will be cooking up some of their delicious home cooked carribean food too! They are well known in the community for the support they offer people at Gerry Raffles and Bryant Street.

Entertainment starts at 12pm and finishes at 5pm so get down early so you dont miss out!
