ONE-DAY BASKET MAKING

On May 11, we had our first free workshop for Newham residents where Alice Billing House studio holder Faye Gosling facilitated a One-Day Basket Making Workshop in our Project Space .
The workshop was fun and hands-on where participants learned the art of weaving and created their very own unique basket to take home. The baskets are perfect for bread, fruit and general storage!
The workshop will be led by Faye, a Newham-based basketmaker and craftswoman, who works mainly with willow. She creates beautiful and functional objects that celebrate natural materials and traditional processes. Find more of her work at fayegoslingcraft.com or @fayegoslingcraft
