ALICE BILLING HOUSE
Just off Stratford’s High Street, this Grade II listed former West Ham Fire Brigade residence is being transformed into an artist and makers studios with a project space dedicated to heritage-led community arts.
By bringing this historic site back into active use as a home for artists and a space for public engagement, cultural events, and community participation, it becomes a living landmark where history and creativity meet - one that honours the building’s rich heritage while looking to the future.
